Anger Management Assessments

Positive Pathways offers Anger Management Assessments that may be voluntary, court-ordered or requested by employers. Our professional evaluators are non-judgmental and will assist with identifying how you manage anger, stress and frustrations.

Our anger management evaluation process provides you an opportunity to speak one-on-one with a certified anger management specialist, who will evaluate the nature of any problems you may be having. The evaluation gets the client involved through discussion of factors affecting feelings.

We provide fast, timely, comprehensive and fair anger management evaluation. We can imagine the frustration you may be going through being asked to do an evaluation, that’s why we make the process easy for people seeking our services.

Our anger management evaluation seeks to establish an accurate picture of your current level of anger control skills and what services may be needed to help you overcome the challenge and satisfy the court or the employer requirements. If our assessment does not establish or produce the presence of anger management problem, then no further recommendation for treatment is made.

The goal of the evaluation is to provide recommendations to the individual or court, and any necessary follow-up care for the individual. It is important to note that these evaluations are not intended to determine guilt or innocence in a legal sense, but rather to inform future actions and recommendations for appropriate level or care, if needed.

This assessment can be completed on any weekday through video meeting or in-person. Assessments are available by appointment only. The standard turn-around time for an Anger Management Assessment is 3-5 business days. If you are in need of the evaluation paperwork the same-day, the evaluation is subject to a $50 rush fee. A rushed evaluation can only be completed if all required documentation is brought to the appointment.
